Terms of service
The commercial terms behind every quote we send. Nothing here overrides what is written on your signed event sheet. Last updated 1 September 2026.
Quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days and are given per guest, inclusive of service staff, crockery, transport within the Dhaka metro, setup and clean-up. VAT is shown separately. Seasonal items such as hilsa are priced against the market on the day and flagged on the quote.
Booking and payment
A date is held for 72 hours without payment. To confirm it we take a 25% deposit; the balance is due on the event day. Corporate contracts are invoiced monthly against a signed purchase order.
Guest numbers
Final numbers are due 72 hours before service. After that, additional guests can usually be accommodated — we cook a 5% buffer as standard — but reductions cannot be refunded because sourcing is already committed.
Cancellation and postponement
Cancel more than 14 days before the event and the deposit is refunded in full. Inside 14 days the deposit is retained. Postponement is free at any point: we transfer the deposit to a new date subject to availability.
Our service guarantee
If we begin service more than 30 minutes after the agreed window, the service portion of your bill is waived automatically. You do not need to claim it.
Allergies and dietary requirements
Tell us allergy requirements in writing at least 72 hours ahead. We prepare nut-free, gluten-free and vegan plates on dedicated equipment and label them at the buffet. We cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment at a shared buffet and will advise plated service where the risk is severe.
Venue and access
The client is responsible for venue access, parking for our vehicles, and a power supply where live counters are booked. Where a venue has no kitchen we bring our own; this needs a site visit and is quoted separately.
Equipment
Chinaware, chafing units and serving equipment remain our property and are collected after the event. Breakage or loss beyond normal use is charged at replacement cost.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the catering contract. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including strikes, road closures and extreme weather — though we will always try to deliver anyway.
